A not-for-profit club incorporated under the Societies Act of Alberta, Capital City Gymnastics Club (CCGC) has been providing high-quality programming for recreational and competitive athletes in the greater Edmonton area for over 50 years. Our vision is to continue to be seen as a leader within the gymnastics community and to provide a positive, inclusive and encouraging environment for all our athletes. CCGC is proud to have seen many of our athletes compete at various levels and competitions across the world - from provincials to nationals and beyond, including the World Championships and the Olympics.

Our Board of Directors (BOD) is made of individuals elected from the CCGC membership who volunteer their time time for the betterment of the Club.

They are the governing body (not operational) for CCGC and provide valuable leadership, guidance and strategic direction, while serving the membership and ensuring that the CCGC management is adequately supported. While the BOD has many responsibilities and goals, it focuses on short and long-term strategic planning such as member recruitment, fundraising & sponsorship, and community awareness.

Our Program Directors & Admin Staff are invaluable to CCGC.

They are responsible for the daily operation of the gym - from answering the phones & emails, greeting everyone who walks through the door, and planning & executing the recreational and competitive programs.

Our Coaches are the backbone of CCGC. These trained / certified individuals are amazing individuals who once did gymnastics themselves or are currently gymnasts.

Our Coaches recognize that each athlete is unique, with different strengths and weaknesses from themselves and their peers. Their passion is combined with their technical knowledge, creating training sessions designed ot be both fun and challenging. They work with each gymnast to set realistic goals through a caring and nurturing environment, and by sharing positive encouragement to create a love for the sport by making practice enjoyable, while building comraderie within the team and all CCGC atletes. 

They dedicate their time and effort into making sure your family has the best possible experience when coming to our gym!
