Ting Huang is from Nanjing China. She is a former member of the Chinese rhythmic gymnastics national team and a well known RG coach. During her career as an athlete, she has won 8 national championship titles in China (1992-1998), was champion of Asia, and champion of various international RG competitions. She represented China at the 1995 Four Continent Championships, at the 1996 World Championships as well as at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta when the Chinese national group won 5th place. After the Olympics Tina attended the FuDan University in Shanghai and won a gold medal in 1998 at the national university RG championships.

In the year 2000 Ting immigrated to Canada and has been coaching rhythmic gymnastics for 7 years in a competitive club and elementary school environment. Tina focused on her own hotel business carrier and has a young son.  Coach Tina started in September 2016 at the Capital City Gymnastics Centre. She is a valuable addition to our team and excited to work with our competitive athletes, sharing her story and knowledge. Tina is also a member of CCGC RG COMP Gymnaestrada Team.
